‘Tetsuo’ runs a traditional osteopathy and therapeutic massage practice in Tokyo and over the years has done a number of courses in “energy healing” techniques, but had never found something that he really felt confident incorporating in his practice. I met him at the Reconnective Healing seminar in Tokyo, which I was attending as a teaching assistant, and he came for a healing session.

When he sat up afterwards, ‘Tetsuo’ blinked, rubbed his eyes and shook his head.  “What? My eyesight feels different… I think both my eyes are the same now!” he said, and began feeling his skull and face. He was astonished, as he could feel that his skull had changed shape and his neck had aligned perfectly after just one session with the frequencies. His birth had been difficult and a forceps delivery had resulted in him having a noticeably misshapen skull, a slightly twisted spine in the neck area, and weaker eyesight in his left eye.

‘Tetsuo’ now offers Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection at his clinic. When I was in Japan recently, he got in touch to tell me that he is inspired and overjoyed that many of his post-stroke rehabilitation patients are responding particularly well and very rapidly to Reconnective Healing compared with the other services he offers.

I had my Reconnection with you and have some interesting things to report.

I didn’t tell you at the time, but I’ve had a 2cm diameter lump in my left breast for several months.  After an ultrasound, the doctor ordered a mammogram then told me it was unlikely to be malignant but that we should keep an eye on it, so it has been a worry for me. On the day after my Reconnection was completed, I discovered that the cyst had completely vanished!

During the first session of my Reconnection, I felt three flat ‘fingers’ pushing gently but firmly against the outside of my right breast and then during the second session I felt the same thing on my left breast. It was very ticklish and I almost laughed, but I just knew it wasn’t you touching me. In fact, I didn’t tell you at the time, but during the second Reconnection session, I was sure there was another person – maybe two others – in the room with us.

Also, I had a frozen shoulder when I saw you and when I got up off the bed after that first session, I had no pain at all!

I feel different in myself now. I am happier and more confident talking with people. Thank you!

 ‘Hannah’

‘Mariko’ was 51 years old and had suffered from rheumatism since she was nine. Over the years, she had developed noticeable deformities in her hands and feet. Throughout her session, her hands and feet twitched lightly, her eyelids fluttered, and her head rotated and tilted slowly from side to side.

When she sat up afterwards, she said the session had felt like a chiropractic adjustment of her neck. It was a revelation how far my neck could move. Amazing! It’s been at least a year since I’ve been able to do anything like that! And it seemed part-way through that even the air I was breathing became much ‘cleaner’. She was also aware of colours and visions that touched her deeply.

What had not been visible when we first met was that rheumatoid arthritis had created such deformity in the cervical vertebrae of Mariko’s neck that her doctors were concerned that the bony arthritic growths now pressing on the nerves governing her lungs and breathing would soon threaten her life. In fact, they were so concerned, that they were meeting with her soon to arrange surgery to insert metal pins in her neck to stop it moving altogether.

Mariko felt that regaining such a full range of movement in her neck was miraculous. The experience also gave her renewed appreciation of how wonderfully her body could serve her and “a lesson” to trust it more.

After my sessions, I began sleeping through the night. I normally had to get up to take puffs from my Ventolin inhaler for severe asthma which I’d had for about 15 years.

I used to take 5-6 daily doses of Ventolin for acute attacks and twice-daily doses of a strong preventative medicine. Soon after my Reconnection, I reduced the preventative to once a day and the Ventolin to hardly ever. In fact I used my “puffer” so rarely that our pharmacist later asked me what had happened - it had been a year since I’d bought an inhaler! My GP was thrilled that I’d reduced my medications, as the side-effects of both can be severe. He changed my prescription to a milder preventative and said to use it only when needed.

I still have the medications on hand, but rarely use them.

Update:

On 23 September, 2009, Sydney experienced its worst dust storm in decades. Air pollution was 1,500 TIMES normal levels and hospitals were over-run with patients exhibiting respiratory symptoms. Han felt no need at all to use his inhaler!

Kevin was very happy to have been able to sleep for 40 minutes during his Reconnective Healing sessions, as prostate cancer surgery plus body-wide secondary bone cancer meant he could not lie or sit down for long without waking up in severe pain. Lack of sleep was making him exhausted and depressed. His first comment at the end of each session was, “I had a great nap – and I feel so calm!”

When diagnosed not long before the sessions, he had been given a prognosis of 2-3 months. He lived for about 14 months and during those months was able to achieve many of the things on his “Bucket List”. His final wish came true as well - marked physical decline came only in the final week or two of his life.

Kevin had one son from whom he had been estranged for over 10 years and whose teenaged children he had only ever seen as babies. While his son did not initially respond with compassion to Kevin’s diagnosis, a couple of months later all the heartache fell away and they were able to reconnect and to tell each other how much love they felt.

Kevin then got to know his grandchildren and they him. When he came back from seeing them for the first time, he told me “Now I can die in peace, with no regrets”.

His other children and their families, as well as all the extended family, were able to come together more whole-heartedly and more joyously than ever before and to celebrate Kevin’s life with him before he transitioned. This was a healing on many levels for all involved.

Tatiana had very interesting experiences during her healing sessions. In addition to physical responses to the frequencies, she sensed other “people” in the room with us and saw visions she felt were very relevant to her personal spiritual quest.

As a result of her interactions with the frequencies during the Reconnective Healing sessions, she feels that all her senses (including her “sixth sense”) have been heightened, that she is more connected with her “whole Self”, and … that her chocolate cravings have disappeared!

Umeko was 86 when she accompanied her daughter to Reconnective Healing sessions with me in Tokyo. On the spur of the moment, she decided to have a session herself, to “see what it was all about”.

When she got up from the bed after the session, she stood upright …. and could not understand why her family members were clapping and laughing. For the first time in over 20 years, Umeko’s back was straight! She had been bent forward from the waist at about 45° since her 60s, due to spinal curvature and vertebral and disc degeneration. Until then, she had generally got around outdoors on a bicycle, since leg and back pain made walking very difficult. She and her family were delighted at her newfound physical ease and her greater freedom to get about independently.

Amanda felt she did not really relax enough to be aware of anything much during her Reconnective Healing session. In the couple of moments when she allowed herself to be open to whatever might come through for her, she felt a few things and near the end of the session suddenly found herself “somewhere else”. When she sat up afterwards, she was cold and confused and crying. She had a sense that something momentous had happened.

Amanda wrote to me later:

“Physically it was nothing special. I felt cold, warm, some tingles, a few muscles in my tummy moved much like a massage. I moved my body around a little much like you would in a light sleep. And at one stage my eye, though closed, moved up as if to look at the top of my head. Then at the very end ‘it’ happened. Words can’t describe it and my thoughts, my conscious mind has largely forgotten it.

So if I was asked to tell you the experience - I would say nothing happened and yet everything.

After the session I had a cry and said sorry to God for getting in my own way and in the way of "his” love for me.

It’s now been about 2 weeks since my healing experience and I would say it was very different than what I expected and I now understand why people have stated they find it hard to describe.

I lay there thinking OK, happen! Go!  Start! Hello? I'm here, I'm ready.... Hello, God, Jesus, Mary? Hello? I'm relaxed, I'm open. Hurry up … I'm waiting. Hello, guys, are you there?

Forty minutes later, I am thinking OK, so it didn’t work. How will I explain I was wrong? Why wasn’t I right? Why didn’t ‘they’ turn up and make amazing things happen when I was so open? Then, Oh stuff it. I’ll just give in and wait for it to end and just tell everyone I was wrong. That happens.... *shrugs*

Finally I relaxed, then nothing happened ... and everything happened, because I entered in a space where everything was one.  This was Oneness. Even the world’s greatest wordsmith couldn’t touch on that feeling of grace and humility. Now I know why stories are told in parables. It's hard to put "touched by God" in words ...

About 3 days before my session I felt my energy electrical field start to change, or maybe increase. I started affecting the electrical things around my car and home. And the increased field continued for 3 days or so after my healing session.

I experienced heightened awareness, better taste, better hearing, needed less sleep, had more desire to eat fresh vegetables and drink water.

As Catherine touched my shoulder to end the session, without opening my eyes I saw maybe seven big white beings lift upward through the ceiling and the ceiling warped open, and as they passed to other side of the ‘above’ the ceiling, the gyprock seemed to reform and replace itself back to the square it was.”
